As I was looking out the kitchen window this morning, I spotted five bright red male Cardinals in the Pussywillow bush by the barn. I was motivated to go get my camera and after taking a few photos I happen to notice the Cooper's Hawk (I think) in the Chestnut tree on the other side of the yard, which explains why there weren't any birds at the nearby feeder...

Cedar Waxwings enjoy eating the berries on the Cedar tree. Apparently the berries at the top of the tree are the most desirable.
