Nom, nom, nom... A young, acrobatic Raccoon snacks on some mulberries.

The House Wrens are back and this one was in the Lilac bush, singing its song.

The Yellow-rumped Warblers were back and flittering about high in the trees last Sunday. Spring is here! Amazing spring wildflowers in bloom as well.

It's that time of year again - the crocus are popping up. Happy Springtime!

As I was looking out the kitchen window this morning, I spotted five bright red male Cardinals in the Pussywillow bush by the barn. I was motivated to go get my camera and after taking a few photos I happen to notice the Cooper's Hawk (I think) in the Chestnut tree on the other side of the yard, which explains why there weren't any birds at the nearby feeder...

Cedar berries - yum, yum, yum. Yellow-rumped Warblers passing through and more Cedar Waxwings at the cedar tree this morning.

Cedar Waxwings enjoy eating the berries on the Cedar tree. Apparently the berries at the top of the tree are the most desirable.
