Spotted high up in a roadside tree on tonight's evening stroll... a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

The House Wrens are back and busy. This one found a spider (I think) to bring home for dinner.

Saw an Orchard Oriole out the kitchen window. It was enjoying the blossoms on the Horse Chestnut tree.

Spied this Green Heron lurking around the pond at Belva Deer Park this afternoon.

Sitting not quite so high in the treetops as the Yellow-rumped Warblers - a White-throated Sparrow.

Gorgeous spring day yesterday!! And "Day of the Yellow-rumped Warblers" at Belva Deer Park. Lots - high up in the trees! Also celebrating the day were White-throated Sparrows, a pair of Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a pair of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, House Wrens, and a Palm Warbler, to name a few.

As I sat on the patio this afternoon enjoying the very warm spring day, I watched a little bird on a nearby tree. Then a second flew up. What a treat to watch these little Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

A very pleasant surprise on today's walk at Belva Deer Park - high up in a tree - a Brown Creeper. I have not seen one in years. What a treat!

Amid the House Sparrows and Eurasian Tree Sparrows sitting in the Flowering Quince bush there is also a White-crowned Sparrow (third from the left).

Very, very cold yesterday. I think the high temperature of the day was -6 degrees. All the birds were very "fluffy" including this Nuthatch.

Happen to sight this female Downy Woodpecker near the feeder a couple of days ago. She was kind enough to stay on this side of the tree so I could take a couple of photos.
