One of these things is not like the other...
Amid the House Sparrows and Eurasian Tree Sparrows sitting in the Flowering Quince bush there is also a White-crowned Sparrow (third from the left).

Very, very cold yesterday. I think the high temperature of the day was -6 degrees. All the birds were very "fluffy" including this Nuthatch.

Happen to sight this female Downy Woodpecker near the feeder a couple of days ago. She was kind enough to stay on this side of the tree so I could take a couple of photos.
